AG2R La Mondiale will be one of the WorldTour teams taking part in the German race Rund um den Finanzplatz Eschborn-Frankfurt tomorrow. The team has announced its riders for the race containing.
One of them is Canadian Hugo Houle, who will be using the race as a warm-up ahead of the important GrandTour Giro d’Italia; his second in a row. Here the team will have a shared leadership with Pozzovivo and Jean-Christophe Peraud. Houle will use the German race as his pre-Giro preparation.
“I went back home to Quebec just after Paris-Roubaix. When I landed, I wondered if I could train because of snow but finally, I trained in good conditions. I am satisfied with my feelings,” said Hugo Houle.
“I am happy to resume competition in Rund um den Finanzplatz Eschborn-Frankfurt. It’s an ideal race before the Giro start. It will be my second Giro in a row and I will work hard for my leaders Domenico Pozzovivo and Jean-Christophe Peraud."
