Before a big weekend on Breton soil, the riders of AG2R La Mondiale had a quiet day.
"We experienced a stage a little like yesterday," manager Vincent Lavenu said. "Despite the distance, it allowed our riders to recover. There is a good team cohesion. We are on the right path.
"Tomorrow the Mur de Bretagne should suit us better. After the 3rd place of Alexis [Vuillermoz] on the Mur de Huy, it might be to his advantage. We have to be vigilant if there is a breakaway of eight to ten riders before positioning our leaders and Alexis in the finale."
