Ag2r will go into the hilly one-day races Classic Sud-Ardeche and Drome Classic with a team that is led by Romain Bardet, Jan Bakelants and Alexis Vuillermoz.

Axel Domont will support his leaders.

"I'm satisfied with my first races," he said. "I was on the right path at La Méditerranéenne. I still have the motivation to work, but the feelings are correct. I have been a professional since 2013 and I am going to start my third Drome Classic. I no longer live in the department, but the race is done on roads that I have used since I was a kid. It takes place in the home village of my father. To shine in this racing weekend one must be able to survive the climbs but also possess puncheur skills. We have seen different kind of riders to prevail, Romain (Bardet, 2014) and Sam (Dumoulin, 2015). With the races in the Ardèche and the Drôme, the duplication of effort is going to hurt this weekend which is the last big test before Paris-Nice.". 

In addition to Domont, Pierre Latour and Guillaume Bonnafond have been rained in the Drôme department.
