From Wednesday, March 11, Ag2r will take part in the Race of the Two Seas , Tirreno-Adriatico. The race features a formidable line-up that includes Chris Froome, Alberto Contador, Nairo Quintana and Vincenzo Nibali.
Christophe Riblon will be at the start of the French race and the winner of the Alpe d'Huez stage of the 2013 Tour de France is ready.
"I was reassured about my form at Clasica de Almeria and Ruta del Sol," he says "It felt really good to put mylself in service of the team. I admit I was in doubt after Australia, I was not at the level I expected. If I had not returned to form, I think I would have declined my selection for the two upcoming races in Italy (Strade Bianche and Tirreno).
"We start with beautiful cards: Domenico Pozzovivo, Carlos Betancur and Alexis Vuillermoz. We have also seen that Matteo Montaguti has worked hard. I am confident and we feel that the team is in a good momentum. We can do great things in both races."
