The Moldavian Alexandr Pliuschin just signed with Synergy Baku after spending a year with Sky Dive Dubai. Aged 27, he was already a runner in a number of prestigious teams (AG2R, Katusha, IAM), but he seems to have trouble finding his place and regularly changing team. 

This season, he won the Melaka Chief Minister’s Cup. He finished 21st at the individual time trial during the last World Championships.
