When the Rotterdam Six Days ends this evening, only two teams appear to have any realistic chances of walking away with the honours. Dutchmen Stroetinga and Kreder managed to cling on to their overall lead on the penultimate evening courtesy of a win in the final Madison of the night. Enjoying a lead of at least one lap on all their rivals and being very close to another bonus lap when reaching the 200 points mark, the Dutch duo look set for a surprise win.

Spaniards Torres and Mora seem to be the only team that’s able to endanger the Dutchmen as they have actually more points than the home crowd favourites. For Danes Mørkøv and Rasmussen things look more complicated as they trail behind on points.

Pre-race favourites De Ketele/De Pauw and Terpstra/Havik continue to struggle, perhaps being affected by the illness that has also troubled other teams during the Six Days.
