Two days after Eugenio Bani's bunch sprint win, Marco Zamparella took the second stage win for Amore e Vita on stage 6 of the Vuelta al Tachira.
Zamparella arrived at the uphill finish with Carlos Molina and Robinson Rivas whom he beat in a sprint. A select group of favourites arrived 26 seconds later which meant that Yosvans Rojas defended his 7-second lead over Jose Mendoza.
Stage 7 offers a tough mountaintop finish that is likely to create big time gaps.
