"We have two great leaders. But the Giro for example, the goal of the team was to go for stage wins. This opens doors for riders like me who can take breakaways. Sure with both excellent runners we have, the opportunities are fewer but there are still many races that they do not participate and where we can have our chance."

This season, he finished 6th at the Tour of Poland and 10th at the Tour du Haut-Var.
