Francesco Chicchi (1980) will ride for Androni Giocattoli-Venezuela in 2015. His debut will be at the Omloop Het Niewsblad on February 28.
The Italian sprinter rode for Neri Sottoli / Vini Fantini in 2013 and 2014 after passing through Fassa Bortolo (2003-2005), Quick Step (2006), Liquigas (2007-2010) and Quick Step / Omega Pharma (2011-2012) .
Chicchi was U23 World Champion in 2002 and also has stage wins in the Tour Down Under, Volta a Catalunya, Tour of Denmark and Tour de Langkawi on his palmares. Last year he took three wins, three in the Tour of Venezuela, and in 2013 he was victorious four times, on two stages of the Tour de Langkawi and at the one-day races Riga - Jurmala GP and Grand Prix Jurmala.
