Androni-Sidermec has confirmed the signing of Rodolfo Torres (1987, Team Colombia). The agreement is for one season.
Undoubtedly, Torres was the best rider of Team Colombia in 2015: he was second in Ermita de Alba at the Vuelta a Espana behind Frank Schleck and 31th overall, second in the Tour de San Luis, seventh in the Vuelta a Burgos and in the Vuelta a Asturias; eighth in the Vuelta a Castilla y Leon and the Tour of Langkawi and 12th in the Giro del Trentino.
Another Colombian, Egan Arley Bernal , Luca Pacioni , Mirko Selvaggi (Wanty-Gobert), Davide Viganò (Team Idea) and Daniele Ratto (UnitedHealthcare) are the other additions confirmed by the Italian team.
Franco Pellizotti, Marco Bandiera, Marco Benfatto, Francesco Chicchi, Tiziano Dall'Antonia, Marco Frapporti, Alberto Nardin, Alessio Taliani and Serghei Ţvetcov will stay with the team which already has 15 riders for next season.
