After confirming Marco Bandiera - twice on the final podium of the Giro d'Italia where he won the sprints and combativity competitions - and Francesco Chicchi - victorious in Crevalcore at Coppi and Bartali and in Guanare at the Vuelta Venezuela - Androni Manager Gianni Savio has made the first signings for next season: Davide Viganò and Daniele Ratto.
Vigano has been professional since 2005 and has been with big teams like Quick Step, Lampre and Sky and will return to the team where he started his career. Viganò, who has three wins this year - a stage and the final classification of the Tour of Slovakia and a stage in the Tour of Portugal - hoped to be a contender in the last races of the season but he will miss those events because of a crash in the Coppa Agostoni.
Like Vigano, Ratto is a fast rider with good experience from Liquigas-Cannondale. Victorious in a stage of the 2013 Vuelta España, the 26-year-old has been with UnitedHealthcare this year.
Furthermore, Androni-Sidermec has renewed the contracts of neo-pro Alessio Taliani - winner of this year's queen stage at the Sibiu Tour - and experts Marco Frapporti and Tiziano Dall'antonia.
