After prematurely pulling out of Tour Down Under and Tour Mediterranéen, Andy Schleck is now ready to return to active racing.
Tomorrow he will be at the starting line for the Italian one-day race Gran Premio Città di Camaiore. It’s now been 311 days since Andy Schleck last completed a race (the 2012 edition of Liege-Bastogne-Liege).
Since abandoning the Tour Mediterranéen due to breathing problems the RadioShack-Leopard rider has been training in Mallorca as preparation for the Gran Premio Città di Camaiore.
Besides Andy Schleck RadioShack-Leopard field the following line-up: Jan Bakelants, Matthew Busche, Laurent Didier, Danilo Hondo, Giacomo Nizzolo, Yaroslav Popovych and Thomas Rohregger.
