Arnaud Demare (FDJ) finished fifth in the final stage of the Tour de France but felt that more was possible if it hadn't been for Peter Sagan.
"I want to confront him with this, but I will not do it," he told RMC Sport. "For a champion like him, it's not okay. He almost made me crash. I think I have nothing to regret. I fought but frankly, with a guy like him, I'm really disappointed. As much as I have admited him, he has really disappointed me."
"Everyone wants to win here. There are many attacks and I wanted to do a nice sprint. I'm super happy with the work of the team. They wanted to make me happy. Frankly, they gave me a beautiful gift because I was never alone. That's great. I was probably a little too hesitant and Greipel sprinted from behind."
