Each day a new breakaway: this is the characteristic of Androni Sidermec who have been on the attack in all the first stages of the Giro d'Italia. 

After the team time trial, Marco Frapporti was in a long breakaway in the second stage, Gianfranco Zilioli in the third, Franco Pellizotti and Simoni Stortoni in the fourth,  Sergei Ţvetcov in the fifth and now Marco Bandiera twice in a row, in the sixth and today's seventh stage.

Davide Appollonio took eleventh in the sprint while Bandiera won both intermediate sprints to take the lead in the sprints classification.
