After having delivered an impressive performance throughout the enire race, Wallonie-Bruxelles ended the Tour de Wallonie on a high as they won both the mountains jersey with Ludwig De Winter and the sprints jersey with Sebastien Delfosse and had Gregory Habeaux in the early break.

"I had the ambition to do a beautiful stage today," Habeaux told Directvelo. "It took me a few kilometers to get started, but I attanced only once. Three riders joined me directly and we got a good advantage over the pack. I was with experienced guys like Kenny Dehaes so we managed our advantage well. We accelerated when necessary. We had a small chance to get to the end, especially when we saw that the gap did not go down very quickly. But it was not enough and the wind was very strong on the final circuit."
