Today Androni Sidermec were in action in both Slovenia and Venezuela. While the Vuelta a Venezuela team led by Gianni Savio and Giovanni Ellena is performing well - having taken a victory with Francesco Chicchi - the team led by Roberto Miodini also shone in the Tour of Slovenia.

In fact Androni Sidermec was in the top 10 in most stages, with Simone Stortoni in the queen stage won by Primoz Roglic. Davide Appollonio was fourth in the final stage and so finished on the final podium as winner of the points classification.

Appollonio recently finished third in the GP Kanton Aargau and has clearly finished the Giro in good condition.
