Having enamed 4 Jours de Dunkerque - Tour des Hauts de France because of the subsidy paid by the Regional Council of Hauts de France to help fund the race, the race in the Northern part of France had to change the name again yesterday. 

According to the site echoduvelo.com, the ASO legal department reportedly asked the organizers of the event to find a new name because the words ‘Tour’ and ‘France’ are used by their main event, the Tour de France, as explained by Bernard Martel President of the organizing Committee.

The organizers have tried to find a substitute name and ultimately the Grand Prix des Hauts de France was chosen. Hence, the race will be called 4 Jours de Dunkerque Trophée Crédit Agricole Grand Prix des Hauts de France.  

In 2017, the race has been extended from five to six days and will visit more regions than usual. Bryan Coquard won the race in 2016.
