While wearing the mountains jersey, Robert Power went down in a crash in stage 3 of the Herald Sun Tour. Set to undergo x-ray, the Australian climbing talent is uncertain for tomorrow's queen stage where is one of the favourites.
The long run into the finish would see Power become a victim of a crash, losing plenty of skin off his left hip and an elbow that would require x-rays following the stage, explaining he was in a bit of pain.
“It’s just my elbow coming into the finish which was pretty sore so I’ll get an x-ray later on and hopefully it’s all good,” he said optimistically hopefully of being a contender for a stage victory on Arthurs Seat. “It’s going to be an awesome race tomorrow and I’d love to be there.”
