A puncture for captain Franco Pellizotti 1km after the start definitely affected Androni-Sidermec  in the opening team time trial of the Giro del Trentino. 

The team lost valuable time and was disunited as they had to wait for their leader. Later they managed to set a good pace and finished the test in fourteenth place, leaving behind the Team Colombia and Cult Energy.

Pellizotti now hopes to bounce back in the upcoming mountain stages.
