On Saturday, Bardiani – CSF Pro Team will tackle one of the most important races when they take to the start of the Strade Bianche. The 1.HC one-day race of 200km includes the famous gravel roads around the Siena countryside before it ends on Piazza del Campo in Siena.
Expectations for a good race are on the shoulders of Battaglin, Barbin and Colbrelli that is coming back in shape after a bout of bronchitis.
”The Strade Bianche is a race with a lot of visibility where we have to try to shine," manager Roberto Reverberi said. "Our riders are focused to redeem last Sunday's performance at GP Lugano and at the same time show signs of growth before two important events like Tirreno – Adriatico and Milano – Sanremo. Some of the strongest puncheurs of pro cycling will be there so it will be a really good test test of our shape for future goals."
