Bardiani-CSF introduces its March calendar with two races in Tuscany. On Saturday, March 5, the #GreenTeam will ride the 10th edition of Strade Bianche, a charming 176km road race starting and finishing in Siena (UCI Europe Tour, 1.HC). The day after, Sunday the 6th, the team will move to Larciano (Pistoia) to attend the 38th Gran Premio Industria & Artigianato, a 199km road race (UCI Europe Tour, 1.1).
For Strade Bianche, Bardiani-CSF will line up the fresh winner of GP di Lugano Sonny Colbrelli, Stefano Pirazzi, Nicola Boem (coming back after intestinal problems suffered last week), Simone Andreetta, Alessandro Tonelli, Enrico Barbin, Lorenzo Rota and Luca Sterbini (coming back as well after recovering from the crash at La Mediterraneenne).
For GP di Larciano, the #GreenTeam will confirm Pirazzi, Boem, Andreetta, Tonelli, Barbin, Rota and Sterbini while Colbrelli will be replaced by Manuel Bongiorno, the rider with the highest feeling for the Tuscan race (3rd in 2014 and 8th in 2013).
“These two races introduce an important stage of our calendar and we aim to honor both at the best of our forces” said Roberto Reverberi, technical leader of the #GreenTeam in Tuscany. “Looking at the performances we did until today, we have had a positive introduction both for morale and physical condition. Colbrelli’s win has broken the ice. Even if we were not stressed to take result in the opening month of the season, it gave the entire team more and more confidence. We just need to proceed on this way”.
