After Giro del Trentino that will finish today in Cles, Bardiani – CSF will continue its Italian racing calendar on Sunday in Genova at the 76th edition of Giro dell’Appennino – Memorial Alfredo Martini. The one-day race was won by Sonny Colbrelli in 2014.

”The change of the finish with the return to Pontedecimo is positive for the climbers that will have only 15km of fast descent from the top of the last climb of Passo dei Giovi to the finish line," manager Roberto Reverberi said. "So I think we have the right riders that can aim for a great result, like Bongiorno, Pirazzi, Zardini and why not Chirico. The former three need to push strongly  already on the Bocchetta climb while Chirico could emerge in a select final sprint."
