Daniele Bennati again confirmed that he is a great time triallist when he finished third at the Italian TT championships.

"I'm not a specialist in these races so I am very satisfied with my performance," he told Tuttobiciweb. "I think that I did a good time trial. I managed it well at the beginning. Maybe I could have done even better but in my career I have not done many time trials of this length. Malori is a real talent and to beat him, especially at my age, is not easy. I made a nice effort  and I can tell you that I am happy. Now I focus on the Tour de France in which I will work for the team."
