Team Saxo-Tinkoff has added Marko Kump to its Paris-Roubaix roster this weekend. The 24-year-old Slovenian rider replaces Italian Daniele Bennati who is still suffering from a slight bout of the flu which ruined his Tour of Flanders.
Following consultations with his team management and team doctor Daniele Bennati has decided to return to Italy to make a complete recovery.
“We have decided to include Marko in our team for Paris-Roubaix instead of Daniele, who didn’t feel well during the Tour of Flanders. Like many other riders he has been suffering in the extreme weather conditions that have characterized many of the races this spring, and he never felt that he could reach peak condition,” explained sports director Lars Michaelsen. “Obviously it’s a difficult decision for Daniele and for the team but we know it’s the right decision. He has returned to Italy and will not compete again until he has made a complete recovery. We know how strong he is when he is at his best, and we look forward to having him back in our ranks.”
Team Saxo-Tinkoff's line-ups for the forthcoming cobblestone races:

Paris-Roubaix: Matti Breschel, Matteo Tosatto, Jonathan Cantwell, Michael Mørkøv, Anders Lund, Christopher Juul-Jensen, Jonas Aaen and Marko Kump.
