Carlos Betancur smiles again and he looks happy in his new role at the Movistar Team where he will try to get back after three seasons of ups and downs with AG2R La Mondiale.
That happiness was reflected this week when the Colombian took to social networks to reveal photos of him wearing his new colors after his first meeting with his new teammates in Pamplona.
"With a bag full of dreams and a lot of motivation", "Get me that blue and green jersey, I'm very motivated ...", "Finalizing details. In 2016 everything will go well with the help of God," he tweeted this week. "This is very good," he concluded yesterday with the image of the back of his new jersey.
Betancur jumped onto the scene in 2013 when he was third in Fleche Wallonne, fourth in Liege and fifth and best young rider in the Giro d'Italia and last year he won Paris-Nice. In 2015 he was close to a stage win in the Giro and finished 20th. In August he terminated his contract with AG2R. He has joined Movistar Team with the hope to return to his best.
