BMC have announced a formidable roster for the final classic, Sunday's Il Lombardia. Two-time winner Philippe Gilbert and three-time runner-up Samuel Sanchez will be supported by climbers Cadel Evans and Tejay van Garderen.
Past two-time Il Lombardia winner Philippe Gilbert and three-time runner-up Samuel Sánchez will be part of the BMC Racing Team's roster for Sunday's edition of the last one-day WorldTour race on the 2014 calendar.
Gilbert, winner in 2009 and 2010, will be joined by Sánchez, who was runner-up in 2006, 2009 and 2012 in addition to a third-place finish in 2007. Also on the BMC Racing Team's roster is past world road and Tour de France champion Cadel Evans, who will make his final appearance in the 254-kilometer race after announcing his retirement last week, to take effect in February.
