The BMC Racing Team will send a six-rider roster to the Tour du Poitou Charentes Tuesday for the start of the four-day, five-stage race in France. And the team is coming to France with the former World Champion Thor Hushovd and Marcus Burhardt as big profiles.
Stephen Cummings, winner of the Tour Méditerranéen and runner-up at the Dubai Tour, will be one of the favorites for the 24.3-kilometer individual time trial on Thursday. The BMC Racing Team's roster also includes Tour du Haut Var stage winner Amaël Moinard and stagiaire Luke Davison.
As formerly mentioned the Tour Mediterraneen winner Stephen Cummings must be counted as a favourite for the TT as he won the exact same in Tour Mediterraneen. And due to the importance of the TT in the race, he can expect to finish off well in the GC if he rides the TT well.
The BMC Racing Team roster for Tour du Poitou Charentes:
Marcus Burghardt, Stephen Cummings, Luke Davison, Thor Hushovd, Sebastian Lander and Amaël Moinard.
