The BMC Racing Team has announced its roster for Sunday's edition of Vattenfall Cyclassics in Hamburge The roster contains of German rider Marcus Burghardt, who will be racing on home soil in Germany. Also Thor Hushovd is a part of the squad.

Thor Hushovd will be a part of the last possible race in Vattenfall Cyclassics as the former world champion will retire after the race. The Arctic Race of Norway was the last race for the Norwegian in Norway and the highlight was the last stage, where the experienced Hushovd took a fight with the young Kristoff.

Greg Van Avermaet, who has been showing an incredible form by winning a stage in the Eneco Tour of Benelux. Van Avermaet’s team-mate Daniel Oss was a great support for the Belgian in Eneco Tour and will also be a part of the squad for Vattenfall Cyclassics.

To join these three riders are Tour Méditerranéen winner Stephen Cummings and reigning Slovakian national time trial champion Peter Velits. All in all a strong squad for the German race by the American team.
