Grega Bole - who has 12 victories and many placements in his career - will be one of the main reinforcements of Nippo-Vini Fantini for 2016. He already rode for the team in 2014 when they rode at the continental level. "Is is like coming back to my family” he declares.
The Nippo-Vini Fantini have finally confirmed that they have signed a one-year contract with Grega Bole for the 2016 season. The growing team aims at improvement of the young talents launched in the 2015 season and the complete re-launch of Damiano Cunego's career. Hence, the team has decided to keep a largely intact roster with many contract extensions and a few select reinforcements. The team has already announced the signing of Japanese National Champion Kuboki, a young talented rider who is ready to measure himself in European races, and Gianfranco Zilioli, a talented climber from Androni.
Yesterday Grega Bole was added as a third reinforcement. His class and experience is evident by the 12 pro wins and many important results. Most notably he won the WorldTour classic GP Plouay in 2011.
It is a comeback for Bole who rode for CCC Sprandi in 2015, after having been already been part of the Nippo-Vini Fantini project in 2014 when the team was in the Continental category. Back then, he won four races, 2 in Asia (Korea and Qinghai Lake) and 2 in Europe (in France and Poland).
“For me it is like coming back to a family," says Grega Bole. “It is a pleasure to ride here. Yhe team works hard but always with the smile and with the enthusiasm created by a family environment. I want to thank Sports Director Stefano Giuliani and General Manager Francesco Pelosi because I know they trust me for 2016. A particular mention also to Rocco Menna, the founder of this team. I’m here to help the team and when it will be possible also to try to win for me and for my teammates."
Grega Bole will already take part in the first short training camp which starts next Thursday in Zola Predosa.
