"The profile and the route of Clasica de Almeria fits perfectly to Grega Bole. The Slovenian is not a pure sprinter, but can sprint from the 50-70 man group, which is expected to arrive at the finish in Almeria."

Last year „riders in orange” claimed three top 10 places in Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia and Clasica de Almeria. This season CCC Sprandi Polkowice also aims big in those two races.

"We have a few races behind us, where we had the opportunity to compete against the best riders in the world – in Mallorca, Dubai and France. We’ve never had such an intense beginning of the season and so many racing kilometers in the legs in the middle of February.  It should bring benefits in terms of form for the riders," sports director Piotr Wadecki said.

Davide Rebellin won’t be at the start line of Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia, where he finished 3rd last year (his next race will be Tour Cycliste International du Haut). In his absence, Grega Bole will take over the role of the leader for this race. He showed good form in Dubai Tour, where he was 7th in the uphill sprint in stage 3 and finished 7th overall. Maciej Paterski has been consistent and solid from the very first race of the year and he should also make his presence known in the Spanish events.

Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia is 198km long. In the second part of the route the riders will tackle two cat.1 climbs. The race ends with a category three ascent to the finish.

The profile of Clasica de Almeria is a mirror reflection of the Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia profile. First 110 kilometres are hilly and the last 75km go either downhill or are flat.

"Last year Bartlomiej Matysiak took 7th in Almeria, and Rebellin was 10th. For the Polish champion it will be the debut in the 2015 season, since the injury eliminated him from competing in the opening races. He underwent the rehab and is training normally.

"The profile and the route of Clasica de Almeria fits perfectly to Grega Bole. The Slovenian is not a pure sprinter, but can sprint from the 50-70 man group, which is expected to arrive at the finish in Almeria. This is how he won GP Ouest France – Plouay and the stage in Critérium du Dauphiné," Piotr Wadecki added.
