In the Tour de Suisse, the peloton tackled 193.1km from Wiel to Biel and the sprinters finalle got their chance. Unfortunately, no LAMPRE-MERIDA rider succeded in fighting for a top result since the blue-fuchsia-green train did not work properly.
In fact, even if Luka Pibernik and Davide Cimolai who were supporting Niccolo Bonifazio, avoided a crash which occured in the final kilometers, the LAMPRE-MERIDA fastmen could not reach the front positions. Cimolai was 28th at the finish in a sprint that was won by Sagan.
Nothing changed in the overall classification: Durasek is 14th at 3'21" from leader Thibaut Pinot and with a gap of 35" to the tenth place of Sergio Henao.
