Lars Boom has decided to skip the cyco-cross race in Bredene on December 30. "We cannot agree on the starting fee," the Astana rider tells Wielerflits. He may now add another race to his schedule.

There ae still three races  - Antwerp, Loenhout and Surhuisterveen – left on his schedule and Boom also hopes to be selected for the World Cup races in Naumr and Heusden-Zolder. "Maybe I will find a replacement for the race in Bredene but I must think about that. To be continued,” he said.

Boom also still plays with the thought of doing the Worlds.
