Since 2009 multiple world champion Theo Bos has been focusing on the road and only occasionally been riding on the track. He last rode at the Abu Dhabi Tour where he was involved in a big crash on October. He suffered deep wounds. After a visit to the hospital, he needed help from the local people to get back to the hotel of his team.
For Bos, it was for the end of his first season at the South African MTN-Qhubeka team. Partly because of injuries, he failed to win, describing the season as a disappointment. “From a sporting point of view, it was a bad season but I wouldn’t have missed this year. I have some great memories,” he tweeted month. In 2016, Bos will stay in the South African team which will be known as Dimension Data.
