After his best season so far on the road, 30-year-old Theo Bos wants to develop further. In particular, the Belkin rider hopes to "win as much as possible" in the year to come, trying to "win from the start of the season and winning an important race" he told Cyclingnews.
Given the good results he achieved in 2013, the former track cyclist will embark on a path similar to that seen this year, with the hope of being able to shine in the Vuelta a España, which he was forced to give up virtually on the eve of the race due to his cortisol level being too low.
Bos has beaten the best sprinters in the world this year and will hope to do so again on bigger stages than the Ster ZLM Tour, where he won stage 2 by beating Cavendish, Kittel and Greipel.
With 12 victories, he contributed over a quarter of Belkin’s total victories in 2014 and has proved himself to be crucial to the team’s success.
