According to a press release, Nacer Bouhanni has announced that he has extended his contract with the Cofidis, solutions crédits team for another year. The French sprinter will wear the red and white jersey until the end of 2017.
Bouhanni joined the team at the beginning of this season, after moving over from the FDJ team. But he had not luck this year, abandoning both the Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana following crashes. This season, he has won six times: GP de Denain, two stage wins at the Critérium du Dauphiné, Halle Ingooigem, Circuito de Getxo, GP d'Isbergues.
In addition to Bouhanni, Cofidis have announced one-year extensions with Spanish Daniel Navarro and French Geoffrey Soupe. They will stay with this team until the end of 2016. Hugo Hofstetter, who is the French U23 national champion, Borut Bozic and Rayane Bouhanni will move to the French team.
