Nacer Bouhanni has got his off-season off to the worst possible start. The Frenchman crashed on the opening day of the Three Days of Grenoble and may have suffered a broken collarbone.
Participating in the Three Days of Grenoble, Nacer Bouhanni crashed on the first day of the event yesterday, sustaining a shoulder injury. Regional newspaper Le Dauphiné reports that the 2012 French road race champion has hurt his collarbone and was brought to the University Hospital in Grenoble for x-rays.
Bouhanni was riding with 2013 madison world champion Morgan Kneisky at the Three Days of Grenoble, an event that has been shortened from its usual 6 days.
Next year Bouhanni will join Cofidis for his road campaign after winning five grand tour stages in 2014, 3 in the Giro and 2 in the Vuelta.
