Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis) proved that he is in good condition for Paris-Tours when he finished second in the warm-up race, Paris-Tours.
"We rode from the beginning to the end but I took a lot of wind in the last kilometer. It was a big fight, I lost my lead-out man and I had to make two or three efforts to get back into position. I struggled to take his wheel (that of Bennett, the race winner) but he was well-placed in the last two hundred meters and as there was a tailwind, I was able to get back. Now we just have Paris-Tours left, the form is still there and I stay focused," he told L'Equipe.
