Astana had two cards to play in today's tough uphill sprint at the Tour de Suisse. However, the team decided to ride fully in support of Alexey Lutsenko instead of Borut Bozic.

"The last 600m were really technical with two roundabouts and an uphill section. For this reason we decided in the team meeting before the stage that Alexey was the best rider for the finish," Bozic said.

In the end their efforts didn't pay off as Lutsenko could only manage 13th.
