The 36-year-old former Tour de France winner already has seven Olympic medals to his name, including four golds, and will be making a bid for number eight when he races in the team pursuit on the track on August 11 and 12.
Now you can find out exactly how his preparations have gone over the past 12 months in a new, one-hour documentary, 'Bradley Wiggins: The Road to Rio'.
This special, behind-the-scenes look into Great Britain's men's pursuit team charts the highs and lows experienced by Wiggins and team-mates Ed Clancy, Steven Burke, Owain Doull, Jon Dibben and Mark Cavendish as they seek perfection and Rio selection.
Furthermore, it also includes interviews with Wiggins' former Great Britain colleagues Sir Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton, as well as insight from his coach, Heiko Salzwedel.
