After a GoPro video caught Etixx-QuickStep director Davide Bramati celebrating Tony Martin’s stage four win at the Tour de France without his seatbelt on from the team car. He has now been suspended for one day from driving at the Tour and Etixx have removed the video from their YouTube channel.

Bramati tweeted: “In the heat of the moment I made a mistake. I didn’t fasten the seatbelt. Lesson learned. It wont happen again.”

Bramati was replaced by another member of staff in the car for stage six, won by his rider Zdenek Stybar.
