Francis Mourey, 34, will wear the Fortuneo-Vital Concept jersey for one year after ge gas signed a contract with the team that is now known as Bretagne-Séché Environnement. Francis Mourey has so far been with FDJ for his twelve pro seasons, since 2004.
Francis Mourey has mostly built his reputation in cyclo-cross where he has been French champion 8 tims and bronze medalist at the 2006 World Championships. But he is also a seasoned road rider, winner of the Tro-Bro Léon in 2013 and a valued teammate in grand tours. He has done six Giri d'Italia and was 20th in 2013.
Mourey is the sixth and latest recruit for Fortuneo-Vital Concept after Steven Tronet, Franck Bonnamour, Julien Loubet, Chris-Anker Sorensen and Boris Vallee. On January 10, Hhe will try to conquer a ninth French championships at his home in Besançon before preparing the World championships and he will return to the road in March.
