The sprinters who thrilled the spectators at the Velodrome Suisse in Grenchen on Friday with a display of the greatest speed and skill will once again take center stage for the last day of the European Track Championships. Both the men’s and women’s Keirin events promise to offer great entertainment – and most likely additional medals for the Dutch who have been dominating the Sprint this week.

In addition to the Sprint, there are four more disciplines on the program for Sunday: three for the women (Omnium, Individual Pursuit and Elimination Races), and then the Madison for the men. French World Champions Bryan Coquard and Morgan Kneisky come in as favorites, while the young Swiss duo Stefan Küng and Théry Shir will be prime challengers, particularly with the enthusiastic support of the home crowd helping to carry them to a medal.
