This weekend Caja Rural are gathered for their first team meeting for the 2015 season. The team uses the opportunity to integrate the 7 new signings in the 19-rider team.

Caja Rural-Seguros RGA is currently gathered for their first team meeting before the 2015 season at the Hotel Bed4U in Tudela. As usual, both the professional and amateur teams participate in the gathering to create a connections between the two squads. During the meeting, all riders have the chance to meet each other, get an explanation of the team works and test new equipment.

The professional team will consist of 19 riders of which 12 riders also rode for the team in 2014 and 7 riders are new signings. Javier Aramendía, Amets Txurruka, Pello Bilbao, Omar Fraile, David Arroyo, Lluis Mas, Francesco Lasca, Fabrizio Ferrari, Antonio Molina, Fernando Grijalva, Heiner Parra and Ángel Madrazo will continue while Miguel Angel Benito (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA amateur), Carlos Barbere, Hugh Carthy, Eduard Prades, Ricardo Vilela, Sergio Pardilla and José Gonçalves are the newcomers. The amateur team will have 24 riders.

Team managerJuanma Hernández commented on the first meeting: "The first gathering of the year is always full of great enthusiasm as we are eager to start the racing and every year we start with the goal of improving our level. This year we have signed GC riders like Vilela and Pardilla, riders that can defend themselves in the medium mountains like Prades and Barbero and young people like Carthy, Benito and Jose Goncalves."

Sports director Eugenio Goikoetxea said: "The early hours of our gathering at Hotel Bed4U in Tudela are exciting times. We have new faces, new sponsors and mainly enthusiasm. We have a balanced team, for all terrains, within our limitations. It is increasingly difficult to win, but we will try with the group that we have and we have harmony among all the riders. It is increasingly difficult to win. We will try to win a few races but we are not guaranteed any victories. We have good riders like the new signings, Arroyo, Txurruka and Bilbao and a number of young people. Without setting an exact goal, we will try to reach an interesting number of wins."

Sergio Pardilla, one of the main additions to the team, said: "I hope to enjoy cycling, the environment is good. I enjoy the fact that we all have that we all have the same goal. I hope we will be a good group of people that will make us enjoy our work. I know almost everyone. Many of them are partners that I know from the races. The first hours in the Hotel Bed4U look promising. It seems to be a good idea to mix pro and amateur riders every year. It's a good way not to make any difference between being a pro and an amateur. It is a good idea to have them together."
