Current Swiss Time Trial Champion and 2014 Tour of Flanders winner Fabian Cancellara has crashed during a reconnaissance of the Tour de Suisse’s TT stage today. He was out on his TT bike when the crash happened on the course in Worb, not far from his home in Berne. He was ok and picked himself up and cycled another 60km after his fall.

He posted two pictures of his injury on his twitter page with the caption: “Ouch that hurt! Crashed 55km/h on TT bike. Lost a lot of skin but could have been much worse!”
