Fabian Cancellara has spoken to www.trekfactoryracing.com about his 2014 season and what he hopes 2015 will be like.

He took an epic win in the Tour of Flanders, but he says that doesn’t satisfy him and he wants to win more races.

“Flanders is not enough. I am not satisfied.”

He will begin 2015 with the ambition of defending his Flanders title and then trying to win Paris-Roubaix, Ghent-Wevelgem and E3 Harelbeke, plus the Worlds Road Rce. To do this, he has already announced the races where he will try to find his form.

“It will be a traditional start: Middle East, Italy, Belgium leading to the Classics.”

One benefit Cancellara has is the arrival of Gert Steegmans form Omega Pharma-QuickStep, who will provide extra Classics support.

“He is a strong guy and now the Classics’ team is stronger. For sure, he raises the level. It will challenge the Classics’ group and also helps the sprinters. I’m happy. It was a nice Christmas present!”

Cancellara has often stated that he will finish at the end of the 2016 season, which he further elaborated on in the interview.

“It doesn’t make me scared – more it makes me think. I just want to enjoy every moment. What I won, I have, and nobody can take that away. I don’t feel any pressure.”
