Cannondale-Garmin have big plans in the Volta a Catalunya where they aim for a good result with Daniel Martin and Andrew Talansky. Today they were among the protagonists in the hilly second stage.
"The last 40km was the complicated part of the road," sports director Johnny Weltz said. "We came to the front and put pressure on the group. We had all the guys in the front. They worked well together and they worked hard. It came down to a reduced sprint. It was the first test for the team here in working together like that, and I’m very happy with what I saw."
