Mark Cavendish and Michal Kwiatkowski will both make their season debut in January at the Tour de San Luis. Both are looking forward to returning to the race where they have done well in the past.

The 2015 season debut of Mark Cavendish and Michal Kwiatkowski will be at Tour De San Luis from January 19th until the 25th. Tour de San Luis was the first race of Cavendish in an Omega Pharma - Quick-Step jersey in 2013.

"I rode there for the first time in 2013 with Cav," UCI World Road Champion Kwiatkowski said. "I also had the leader's jersey, and I finished 3rd in the time trial and the uphill finish. In 2013 I didn't expect to be at that level so quickly. So of course I have good memories of this race. I was impressed by the public at the team presentation before the race. It was amazing how many people were there for us. It was really impressive. Racing there was really nice and it will be a good way to build my condition for the 2015 season. It's a race you want to go to because the weather is good, the organization is good, and it really gives you good competition to prepare you for the whole year. It will be nice to make my debut in South America with my rainbow jersey. It will be another new experience and I'm really looking forward to going there."

"I've had some great moments at this race," Cavendish said. "I've been there the last two years and I think it's one of the best ways to prepare for the season. It's a beautiful country with great people. For me, it's important because I won my first race there with Omega Pharma - Quick-Step in 2013. So I look forward to more success in the near future at this race."
