Mark Cavendish is not a fan of cameras on his bike. The Briton believes the devices are too heavy and wants them to become more aerodynamc and improved before he will use them in a race.

"That's nice to see," he told Het Neiuwsblad about the use of cameras. "But in a sprint, I prefer to have them on another bike than mine.

"Ultimately it weighs around 180 grams. Let's first allow the techies to make them more aerodynamic."

His teammate Mark Renshaw has already had a camera on the bike during the final day of the Tour de France. 

"But it stopped working five kilometres from the finish," Cavendish said.

In the Tour de France, several riders used a camera. In the recent Tour Down Under, Jeremy Roy had taken on the task of being the cameraman of the race.
