CCC Polsat have signed a contract with Slovenian rider Grega Bole today. Naszosie.pl reports that the team management has confirmed the agreement.
After signing Stefan Schumacher, the orange team from Polkowice has signed another foreign star. This time the team has inked a deal with Grega Bole who has been riding for Vini Fantini-Nippo in 2014.
Bole's career started in 2005 and he rode three years at the Slovenian Sava team. Right from the start, he enjoyed lots of success. He won stages in the Istrian Spring Trophy, the Tour of Slovakian, the Paths of King Nikola and Giro del Friuli and won the U23 Liege-Bastogne-Liege. In 2008, he won the 1.1 GP Kranj while riding for Adria Mobil.
In 2009, he signed his first professional contract. Being part of the Amica Chips-Knauf team, he won the GP Nobii Rubinetterie, a stage in the Vuelta a Asturias and was second in the Tour of Hainan.
He joind Lampre for the 2010 season and spent three seasons at the Italian team. The first year was his most successful with stage wins in the Tour of Slovenia and the Criterium du Dauphine and a second place in the Tour de Pologne. In 2011, he was Slovenian champion and took a big classics win in the GP Ouest France.
He spent one year at Vacansoleil-DCM but when that team folded his stepped down to continental level with Vini Fantini-Nippo.
In the current season, Greg Bole had lots of success. He won the first stage of Grodów Piastowskich where he beat his new teammate Davide Rebellin He also won a stage in the Tour of Qinghai Lake. He finished second in both the Tour of Japan and the Circuit des Ardennes, winning a stage in the latter race. In the autumn classics in Italy, he did well, finishing second in both Memorial Marco Pantani and Coppa Agostoni.
Greg Bole has signed a' one-year contract with his new team.
