On August 5, an 8-man roster of CCC Sprandi Polkowice will take on Belgian one-day event – Dwars door het Hageland – Aarschot (1.1)
The race held in the Flemish Region has a typical layout for that area. The course is very twisty, often goes on narrow, cobbled and even gravel roads. There are also some short, but punchy hills on the menu.
The riders will start from the suburbs of Aarschot and will wrap things up in Diest. There are 197,7 kilometer to cover. The race has 1.1 category and is part of Napoleon Games Cycling Cup series, which includes 10 Belgian one-day events. 24 teams will be take part in Dwars door het Hageland and among them two UCI World Tour squads, Etixx-Quick Step and Lotto Soudal.
CCC Sprandi Polkowice will be represented by the stage winner of Mazovia Tour, Tomasz Kiendyś, overall winner of Tour of Estonia, Grzegorz Stępniak, overall winner of Bałtyk – Karkonosze Tour and Tour of Małopolska, Mateusz Taciak, the 3rd fastest rider at the prologue of Sibiu Tour, Adrian Kurek and Jakub Kaczmarek, Bartłomiej Matysiak and Josef Cerny.
